A 1960s lounge chair, reborn.

Reupholstery · 4 Weeks

A retired gold-brocade lounger from a Tallahassee estate. Frame intact, springs holding, but the original fabric was beyond saving. Stripped, rebuilt, and rewrapped in a soft heathered linen with new tufted buttons and welted seat cushion.

"The piece you love, made new — without losing what made it yours."

The maker's test sit.

Quality Check · 2026

Every piece gets a final sit-test before it leaves the workshop. Springs, cushion firmness, fabric tension, arm height — all checked the only way they can really be checked. By the maker, with a cup of coffee, in the chair itself.

In the details.

Tufting · Welting · Skirt

A closer look at the work that doesn't catch the eye until you sit down. Hand-tufted buttons, welt cord run by hand along every seam, and a tailored skirt that hides the legs at exactly the right height.
